World AIDS Day 2006

In recognition of the 25th Anniversary of HIV/AIDS, Boston Medical Center and the Boston Public Health Commission are inviting friends, family and community members to attend this year's World AIDS Day event, 10 a.m. Dec. 1, in the Menino Pavilion at Boston Medical Center, 840 Harrison Ave., Boston. Jordan Hospital provides free primary care and anonymous counseling and testing for persons living with HIV/AIDS in Greater Plymouth through a federal Ryan White CARE Act (Title III) grant for Early Intervention Services. Through this program, patients can receive primary care services including physical examinations; treatment services and planning; laboratory testing; immunizations and screening; antiviral medications; referrals to specialty care and clinical trials as well as medical case management.
