Pick up that book you’ve been meaning to read or find a new one that interests you at the Front Street Book Shop. Grab some lunch and dig in as you read. Make sure you don’t get wrapped up in your book and lose track of time.

WALK AROUND

Walk along Front Street and check out the shops. If you walk past the main set of shops, you can take in the harbor sights. The walk may help work up an appetite.

CHECK IT OUT

The Front Street Book Shop is a great bookstore with all of the bestsellers, a good selection of classics and some interesting finds. The people who work there are friendly and happy to discuss their recent favorites or just let you browse.

QUICK BITES

Pick up a sandwich or a salad at The Silent Chef. You can pair that with a bag of chips or a dessert for a bargain price. If you are looking for a more substantial meal, the Silent Chef also offer lunch specials.

RELAX

The Front Street Book Shop has some great chairs in which you can sit while thumbing through a book or two. The environment is quiet and there’s no pressure to buy; you have the freedom to spend a few minutes getting lost in a few different books.
