Village Landing, Plymouth

Plymouth’s waterfront has a lot to offer for those willing to walk past Plymouth Rock. By all means visit the local icon, but then continue on. Walk along the harbor and town wharf. There are cement paths to use, and the view is spectacular. Stop in at the Village Landing Marketplace on the left just past the rotary on Water Street. Its eclectic shops offer everything from fine chocolates to fine wines.

Cost: $10.99 for a bottle of Pilgrim’s White (dry white dinner wine) from the Plymouth Winery; $10.45 for a grilled chicken sandwich with fries and a ginger ale at the East Bay Grille.
