Cobbs Corner, Canton

Cobbs Corner, revamped more than 10 years ago, has become a village unto itself, complete with pergola-covered brick walkways and piped-in music. The plaza, on Route 27, has a variety of stores and restaurants and plenty of parking.

Check it out
The stores at Cobbs Corner include Marshalls, the Gap, Talbots, Eastern Mountain Sports, Bath & Body Works and Hallmark. A Shaw’s supermarket dominates one corner. Along another stretch of walkway is The Main Course, a meat and seafood market.

Grab a bite
Let your appetite be your guide as you pick a restaurant. The possibilities include the Halfway Cafe, Bertucci’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Subway sandwich shop. There are also Chinese restaurants, all-day-breakfast spots and several sub shops. No matter which choice you make, you’ll probably be able to get lunch fast, and for less than $10.

Relax
Warm weather brings out the vines and flowers on the pergolas in the plaza. There are benches for resting or eating your lunch outdoors.

Shop
Buy or just browse. There are book stores, national chains, a flower shop, Hilliards House of Candy, shoe stores and Romanza, a clothing shop.
