Need to get your golf swing in shape for the after-work league and still get a quick bite to eat before going back to the office? Ponkapoag Golf Club in Canton has what you need.

Cost: $8 for a bucket of balls, hot dog, chips and a soda.

Ponkapoag’s refurbished driving range includes new tee boxes and a pretty wooden house decorated with flowers and shrubs. There, golfers put a token in a machine to get a bucket full of balls. The cost is $7.
Grab a bite
The course offers a driving-range lunch special: $8 for a bucket of balls, a hot dog, a bag of chips and a soda. If a hot dog isn’t your thing, the updated snack bar offers an assortment of hot and cold sandwiches for $5.95; nearly all include chips and a soda.
Walk around
If you’re not in the mood to swing a club, the snack bar is a great place for a quick lunch at a great price. There is an indoor clubhouse and an outdoor patio where you can watch the golfers. Walkways wind in and around some of the course’s holes and the public is welcome to meander throughout the lush, rolling grounds.
