The Tour

Lots of people say the same thing when we tell them we're going on tour:
"Just like 'Almost Famous.'"

This is not "Almost Famous." We wish it were, but we're not quite there yet.
Stillwater, the fictional band in that 1999 Cameron Crowe movie, had a record deal. We do not.

They were recognized on the street in strange towns. We are not.

They stayed at hotels and used false names to hide from groupies. We're sleeping in the van and at Motel 6, and we're checking in using our real names and our own credit cards.

They were playing arenas and opening for Black Sabbath. We're playing bars and all-ages clubs and opening for we're not quite sure who, and sometimes, no one at all.

We're doing what we're doing because we need to do it. Playing local shows will only take you so far. We've done that. Playing regionally will take you a little farther. We've done that. Riding around across the country and selling your CDs at stiflingly hot festival concerts will take you even farther. We've done that. Now we're setting out to find new fans across the country, get our music in the hands of as many people as possible and prove that we're for real.

And you're invited to watch.
