BIO: Cavicchi grew up in Duxbury and graduated from Duxbury High School in 1990. He served in the Army for four years as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was based at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He earned a master’s degree in criminal justice from Curry College in 2002. He has been married for eight years and has two sons, 3 and 4 years old.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? In the Army Special Forces
What would you have been if not a police officer? A soldier
Best advice you ever got: “It’s better to have it and not need it then than need it and not have it.”
Person who gave it to you: A former military squad leader
What do you do in your time off: Go to the gym, spend time with family, go hiking in the Duxbury Town Forest.
