BIO: Duffey grew up in Rockland and graduated from Rockland High School in 1992. He attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute and earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering in 1996. After college, Duffey worked as a fire protection engineer, designing sprinkler systems for buildings. Then he was hired in Norwell in 2001. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Karen, for seven years.

What do you do in your time off: Duffey works part time as an engineer. He enjoys playing with his two boxer dogs, George and Max, spending time with his wife and his parents, and reading and watching TV.
