    “My family is very important  to me.”

  “I enjoy my job. It is fulfilling  and it allows me to show other  firefighters current rescue techniques  that I have been shown.”

  “I own a Harley-Davidson.  Riding my motorcycle with my  wife is a great way to spend time  together.”

BIO:  Levenson grew up in  Hingham and is a  Hingham  High School and  Franklin  Institute of Boston graduate.  He has been a member of the    Hingham Fire Department for  22 years and was promoted  to lieutenant in 2001.  He is  the director and a 12-year  member of the Plymouth  County Technical Rescue  Dive Team.  He lives in Halifax  with his wife, Theresa, and  three children, David, 16,  Nick, 14, and Arianna, 11.

What did you want to be  when you were a kid?  “An  auto mechanic.”
What would you have been  if not a firefighter?  “I would  have worked in construction.” 

 
Best advice you ever got:  “Don’t do anything stupid.”
Person who gave it to you:   “Jimmy Houghton, a retired  Hingham firefighter.”
What do you do in your  spare time?  “When there is  any (spare time), I go to my  kids’ games, ride my  motorcycle, take weekend  trips to New Hampshire, and  do yard work.”
