BIO: Donnelly is a 2000 graduate of Quincy High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Suffolk University and is studying for a master’s degree in criminal justice from Curry College. He is certified to install children’s car seats and is the police department’s Project Lifesaver technician. He is active in the department’s “Early Bird Basketball” program for kids for middle school students. Donnelly is single and lives in Pembroke.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? “A police officer or oceanographer.”
What would you have been if not a police officer? “A teacher. I always enjoy working with kids.”
Best advice you ever got? “Always keep laughing and have a good time.”
Person who gave it to you? “My parents and grandparents.”
What do you do in your spare time? “I am a big movie buff. I love going to the movies and doing work around the house.”
