Proudest Accomplishments
Having created a “family” of companies that could bring my family together on a daily basis. From the inception, my husband and I have employed family and friends to allow us to use the wealth of talent we had immediately around us and to create a very enjoyable working environment.
Perfect Day
A day without phones and the Internet would be the perfect day! I enjoy the outdoors and like to “get lost” in my surroundings. My sanctuary for this is Lake Winnipesaukee with my husband and our two young children, whether it’s in the summer on the jet skis or in the winter on the snowmobiles. The lake and the mountains make me forget the daily burdens of the two businesses.
Looking Forward
My husband and I are building a home on Lake Winnipesaukee. We are integrating geothermal along with many other “green” building techniques to create a green and environmentally conscious home. We are anticipating receiving a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, and will use the home to showcase ways to make a difference on the environment with little cost impact.
Pass it on
We only have one Mother Earth. We each need to do our part in helping to preserve her. Be it by cleaning up our past mistakes or doing our part to minimize the resources we use or switching from fossil fuel to geothermal, we all can make a difference.
