PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT
Being a part of the re-growth of the Cohasset Dramatic Club, one of the oldest working community theaters in the country, at 87 years young. Working with our small board of directors, we have been able to re-establish this theater group artistically, critically and financially. I couldn’t be prouder of our achievements and what they bring to our audiences.
PERFECT DAY
It would have to be one of those perfect summer days with warm breezes and no humidity. It would include sailing, boating or just sitting at the beach with my family. It would also include a terrific cook-out afterward, or my most favorite indulgence, anything Mexican! Of course, a perfect theatrical day would be what I just experienced last weekend; a sold-out performance of a production I had a hand in bringing to life.
LOOKING FORWARD
I look forward to continuing the growth of Cohasset Dramatic Club’s theatrical expertise from all perspectives: operational, technical, set design and overall production quality. I especially look forward to seeing our theater come to life in a restored new/old home (Cohasset Town Hall) and the inaugural performance in that space.
PASS IT ON
I have been lucky to have learned so much from so many people, starting with my mom, who was a professional dancer and choreographer and instilled in me a love of theater at a very young age. If you love something, go after it. Immerse yourself in it and work hard at it. As for truly passing something along, I feel it has been my privilege to have the chance to nurture and carry forward CDC’s long-standing history for the town of Cohasset and for generations to come.
