Proudest Accomplishments
My work at CWE is the perfect blend of my background in social services, my commitment to making a difference in women’s lives, and my belief that entrepreneurship is the key to self-sufficiency and economic prosperity. CWE is now the largest women’s business center in the nation, with a commitment to entrepreneurial training for women across the economic spectrum, outreach to the Hispanic community, and a public policy arm that extends across the country.

Perfect Day
A day spent with my family and time spent in my garden.

Looking Forward
My husband and I have decided to take a two-year sabbatical. In the fall, we and our children and grandchildren will move to Europe and live in Italy in a home with many gardens. This is a very exciting prospect for me.

Pass it on
This is the first generation of women for whom entrepreneurship has been a real choice. I get particular satisfaction from my work at CWE, which enables me to participate in these women’s stories and hopefully to pay back some of the debts I owe to others who have helped me to succeed as a women in the business world.
