Age: 51

Occupation: Business coach and facilitator of boards of directors

Proudest Accomplishment:

My proudest accomplishment is being one of the cofounders of the Center for Women in Boston, which provides technical assistance to women’s businesses and helps them grow their business.

Perfect Day

I’m a big supporter of the arts, so a perfect day for me is one that would includes some kind of artistic endeavor, either going into the pottery studio, or to a museum or interacting with an artist - just about anything having to do with the arts.

Looking Forward

In the short term, I’m looking forward to my nephew’s high school graduation. He is a special needs kid and the fact that he is graduating with his class is a big thing. In the long term, I just refocused my business to go into coaching and advising, so I’m looking forward to growing the business after having had a successful career as a chief financial officer. I also hope to help women business owners and artists. Artists are small business owners, they sometimes don’t know that.

Pass it on

The belief that I live by is basically that you have to give back. To those whom much is given, much is expected - that sums it up. I counsel those I mentor that they should pay back, not to me, but in the future. It’s how I live my life. I also believe every day I can save the world; it’s what makes me get out of bed in the morning.
